Dear Friend of the YMCA of South Florida, The Y had an impactful couple of years, and we want to share some of it with you. Enclosed you will find a copy of our 2019-2020 Annual Report. This report shares our dedication and service to the South Florida community.
Twenty Twenty (2020) was a challenging year for us all, but despite a pandemic with significant loss of revenue, the YMCA of South Florida’s strong roots and integral role as part of the community has allowed us to continue to make an impact. Even during the shelter-in-place when our facilities were closed, the Y continued to provide services through childcare for essential workers, food delivery for seniors, financial resources for rent and household bills, online learning opportunities for students, and virtual healthy living options for our members. Still we touched more than 265,000 lives.
You will see by the testimonials we have included that lives are genuinely being touched by the relationships, major foundations, corporations, government and other human service agencies that partner with the YMCA. We couldn’t do the work we do without the generous support of our donors and community partners.
