ABS FOR SENIORS
These classes are designed to build core muscle groups, while improving posture through performing a variety of exercises that strengthen the abdomen, back muscles and increase flexibility. The instructor may include a variety of equipment in this great workout.
FUN WITH BANDS
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
Tai Chi is a popular exercise for older adults which combines martial arts and meditative movements with a kind of yogic relaxation through deep breathing. Compared with other exercises that contain a meditation element, Tai Chi is generally recognized as a safe and low-cost complementary therapy.
Build skills at any age with senior art classes. Music, painting, pottery, and dance. Staying creative as you age can help you protect your brain and improve your life.
Enjoy a low-impact dance class with fun choreography that’ll get your heart pumping!
