BUILDING NEW CAMP & AFTERSCHOOL RELATIONSHIPS IN AVENTURA

The YMCA of South Florida Youth Development Miami Program kicked off a new summer camp in Aventura on June 10. In the first three weeks, it is averaging 300 campers per week, projecting 2,700 campers over the course of the summer. There are five camps being offered – Traditional Camp, Art Camp, STEM Camp, Sports Camp and Travel Camp. They will bring in over $300,000 in new revenue and provide 40 people with jobs.

In the Fall, the Youth Development Miami team will also provide 2 new afterschool programs in Aventura, along with Hebrew, Karate and Early Childhood (tumbling toddlers, art adventures) classes.

Great opportunity to provide kids with a safe place to go after school and parents with peace of mind.
