CELEBRATING AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM PARTNERSHIPS WITH PRINCIPALS

The YMCA and the School Board of Broward County have been partners in providing Before- and After-School programs for more than four decades. On April 25, the YMCA of South Florida Youth Development Broward team hosted a Principal’s Breakfast at Gulfstream Park to celebrate the partnership between the Y afterschool program and the school Principals who make it all possible.

With a clear focus on nurturing the potential of ALL youth, the YMCA is the largest provider of Youth Development Programs in the County.

Because of a great partnership and collaborations, students are able to learn, grow and thrive. This year, the Y and Principals have impacted more than 3,500 young lives in Broward County through afterschool programs. That is pretty amazing!

Thank you to all our Broward County Principals for your support … for every day allowing us to shine and create brighter futures for our community’s youth.
