Our Personal Trainers are educated professionals often with years of experience who can help any YMCA member including working professionals, new moms, seniors and triathletes. YMCA trainers come from as many different backgrounds and walks of life as our members do, and we take great care in matching members with the right personal trainer.

The typical initial visit includes a review of your health history, lifestyle and goals. Your personal trainer can then help you achieve goals through one-on-one attention, accountability and expertise.

I am the proud mother of two beautiful children and a beautiful granddaughter!  I was born and raised in Washington, DC, into an athletic family with lots of brothers and one sister.  Growing up, I participated in various sports such as boxing, basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, and flag football just to name a few.  Over the years of raising my children, although active, I put on quite a few unwanted pounds that I know was detrimental to me considering my family history.  The pain of having lost some of my close family members to various diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease and obesity, I decided that I did not want that to be my story and decided instead to take control of my health.  I established some SMART fitness goals for myself, determined to accomplish them, and I did.  This was the best decision that I could have ever made for myself and my children.

I was born in Hollywood, FL but lived most of my life in Naples, FL. I played basketball all through my life and being around sports ultimately brought me to training! I received my Personal Training Certification through the NASM in 2018. Since then I have acquired continued education certifications including one for Applied Stretching Theory and Practice as well as DotFit Nutrition with more on the way! My specialties include weight loss as well as building muscle mass through functional movements that benefit you in day to day life. Another specialty is flexibility specifically through the use of PNF Stretching. I love spending time with friends and family and watching the Miami Heat.
