CEO Message

Sheryl A. Woods President/CEO

As a busy, kid-filled summer of learning, field trips, swimming, play and discovery winds down, the Y is gearing up for the beginning of a new school year and more opportunities to provide healthy living options to kids and families. Back-to-school time means more structured routines, youth sports and fun holiday traditions. Parents are in search of safe and nurturing after school care for their children. Kids are looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new teachers. And the Y staff is reminded of why we’re here – to bring people together and strengthen our community.

This summer we impacted tens of thousands of kids and families in our summer programs and activities like camp, swim lessons, youth sports and back-to-school giveaways. It was an amazing summer and we plan to touch many more lives in meaningful ways this fall season!
