WELCOME TO SUMMER CAMP IN BROWARD AT CAMP Y

KIDS LOVE US.
PARENTS TRUST US.

At the YMCA, we take pride in creating an environment where children not only thrive but also genuinely enjoy their time. Our commitment to excellence goes hand in hand with the trust parents place in us. At Camp Y, campers make friends, have fun, get active and discover who they are and what they can achieve. Kids can expect to experience something new every day. Whether it’s through singing or swimming, through nature hikes or sports, or fashion shows or leadership training, we help them grow as individuals and leaders Y Campers will even sit with a literacy teacher daily to prevent summer learning losses! Includes lunch and weekly activities.

ABOUT SUMMER CAMP IN BROWARD AT CAMP Y

a unique approach to summer

To minimize the Achievement Gap, the Y takes a unique approach to non-school day and summer programming. Not only do we offer the fun traditional activities typically associated with camp, but we also place an emphasis on increasing physical activity, improving academic performance and teaching water safety. Our camp programs cultivate positive recreational experiences, while recognizing each individual child’s needs and abilities. Campers improve and/or maintain their physical fitness and academic levels through participation in:

  • STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math)

  • Project-Based Learning
